Every first Sunday, there’s live music. The place is welcoming and the people are friendly. We had a splendid time listening to Neo-soul music and the DJ was spot-on with the music before and during breaks.

This is an AMAZING bar/cafe. We got to speak with the owner who is an amazing person. If you’re lucky enough to meet her chat, she’s informative and just a good vibe all around. We were there on a cold-ish day so only got coffee. But they have a bunch of food and drinks. Lots of events throughout the week. Live music. Great ambience. Good company. Will 1000% be back!

Fantastic Vibe. The owner is so kind and fun, and jsut a joy to be around. It is the perfect neighborhood bar with people studying/working, talking with your neighbors, and great music and drinks. I went for happy hour on Sunday to get out of the heat, and stayed for the drinks and great conversation. I didn't get a chance to try the food, but I will soon as this is 100% a new regular spot for me. Also, right by the park so a great spot to pop into after hanging out by the pool or hanging out in the area. 2 blocks from the 110 Redline Stop and not far from the A/C stop.

I am so happy a new cafe & bar opened up in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is excellent and the service was fabulous. I had and iced matcha latte with oat milk and my best friend had an iced latte with oat milk. Both drinks were strong and delicious. We ordered a cheese croissant and a chocolate one. Both were super fresh & soft on the inside. We chose to enjoy our coffee and tea in the outside seating area. The barista was lovely and attentive. I highly recommend this place both on atmosphere and quality of products. I encourage you to support this black owned business the next time you come to Harlem.

This spot took over my long time fave "Cantina" restaurant, but Alke is a perfect new neighborhood spot for coffee or cocktails. The music, lighting & libations just right for a girls' catch up session on a cold rainy Sunday.

I love this place! It is such a gem for the area! Great energy, awesome event options including comedy, music, special events! I recently went to an incredible special tasting menu that had northern Nigerian specialities that was mind blowing! Monday night comedy is always fun with great drinks from a great bar staff and energy. Alke is also open for coffee which is always nice especially to grab on a walk to the park with the pup or to sit outside when weather allows

The atmosphere was great and so was the service. My boyfriend and I played uno while we waited for our food which got to us quickly. I ordered the salmon bowl it was the best thing I had in a while from a restaurant. Well seasoned and everything
